  1. I too read this book. There are very few books that I can say have significantly changed me and my outlook on the past, future and present. The book Invisible Man is a book that has done that. My eyes were glued to all 581 pages of the book and as my eyes flowed on the words, I became aware about my own thoughts. Many of the feelings TIM went through in the book, I feel as though I have indirectly gone through them too because of my ancestors and my father. Invisible Man has evoked anger but also expanded my awareness many issues and problems like racial inequality that still lives strong and rampant in the school system, places of business and everywhere you look. “It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible.”-- Oscar Wilde What we need to do is instead of denying that we judge people only by the outer appearance, we act on this awareness and become more mindful. Being mindful is a huge leap in eliminating hatred and prejudices.
